Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This policy explains how Product Publishing handles information when invited users connect a TikTok account, prepare media, and request an upload or post.
2. Information we process
- TikTok authorization data, including an account identifier, display name, avatar, granted scopes, and access tokens.
- Videos, captions, hashtags, cover selections, visibility choices, and interaction settings supplied by the user.
- Operational records such as publish identifiers, status responses, timestamps, and error logs needed to complete and troubleshoot a request.
3. How information is used
Information is used only to identify the authorized account, display current publishing choices, transfer user-selected content to TikTok, show publishing status, secure the service, and resolve failures.
4. Sharing
User-selected content and publishing settings are sent to TikTok when the user initiates an upload or post. Limited data may be processed by infrastructure providers solely to host and operate the service. Personal information is not sold or used for advertising.
5. Retention and security
Data is retained only for as long as required to provide the private-beta service, maintain security, and investigate errors. Reasonable technical controls are used to protect tokens and operational data. No system can guarantee absolute security.
6. User choices
Users control the selected video, caption, visibility, and final publishing action. TikTok authorization can be revoked from TikTok account settings. A user may also request access to or deletion of service data through the support channel provided in the product interface.
7. Children
The service is not intended for children or anyone who is not eligible to use TikTok under TikTok's terms.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated as the private beta evolves. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published.
